A love letter to the personal website
In a world of social media, standard layouts and platform rules, it is easy for creativity on the web to get a bit lost. In her talk “This Website Is under Construction, a Love Letter to the Personal Website”, Sophie Koonin talks about why personal websites still matter. They are more than just a digital CV or a showcasing tool, they are your own space on the internet. And that idea pushed me to write this first post, to work on my personal website and to start off with a small love letter.
What’s waiting for you here
This is a place where I can show what matters to me, try things out – just make things, without algorithms in the background. Compared to other platforms, things are more open here, I can decide what I share and how I want to present it. There is no pressure to do things the „right“ way or to fit into a certain format. I can structure things in a way that makes sense to me, write things down or share ideas that might not fit anywhere else.
So for me, this portfolio is not just a collection of projects. It is also a place to show a bit more than just the final result. Thoughts, ideas and everything that happens in between.
If you’re curious about what I do and how I work, feel free to have a look around.
